On this episode, we spend quite a bit of time talking about our trip to New York! It is official, the GU crew has FINALLY met in person! In addition to Mark and Jasmin meeting, they also met up with some fellow podcast nerds including Phable, Big Herm, and K! Our apologies for the audio quality this week!
For the first time in a long time, we’ve rated this series the same! The jokes landed, the chemistry with the cast was off the charts, and it was all wrapped up in a violent, profanity laden bow! Spoiler: we LOVED Peacemaker!

Happy 2022! We are back and the gang’s all here! This episode is a special, intentional deviation from our norm and we hope you’ll give this a listen if you’re a newbie or a regular. Mark, Jasmin, and Stephen sit down to talk about our mental health during the pandemic. What kind of things popped up for us, what measures we’ve put in place to work our way out of it, and how general geekery and pop culture have helped us keep our sanity as we move into this third calendar year of a global pandemic.
Our best advice? Talk about it! Talk to a professional, talk to some friends or family, or find your people online (like we did) and talk to them. We get a little serious, we have a few laughs, but mostly we’re grateful that we were able to open up to receiving the help we needed.

We have decided that Scott Pilgrim will henceforth be known as a Christmas book. No, we will not be taking questions on the matter. In fact, we hope you’ll join us next year as we cover volume 3 in December 2022! In great spirit, as always, we were joined by Rockin’ Robbie (who has also been co-opted into this new tradition) to help us get through Scott Pilgrim Vol 2: Scott Pilgrim vs The World!
